Our Founder’s Story
After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and graduating from The Florida State University with a degree in Finance, founder and Managing Member Shanze Lee set his sights on financial advising and mortgage brokering. However, the U.S. economy changed his direction. Following the downturn in 2008, he returned to the multi-generational family profession of building and site construction. As seventh-generation “Lee” from Seminole County, his family’s history is tightly woven into the fabric of the local area. He has been a licensed contractor since 2008, helping developers and property owners realize their commercial and residential goals. Starting a new venture (Red Lion) in 2015, the company bought its first multi-tenant commercial property several months later as an income-producing investment. In January 2016, Red Lion sets its goals on developing raw land, building new commercial buildings and tenant build-outs.
